This Privacy Policy applies to the "All Video Downloader: HD Saver" application ("the App"). The App is built as a commercial utility app. This page is used to inform users regarding policies with the collection, use, and disclosure of Personal Information for anyone using the App.

1. Information Collection and Use
The primary function of the App is to allow users to download and manage video files on their local device. We are committed to a local-first architecture. The videos you download and the files you manage are stored entirely on your local device storage and are not transmitted to or stored on our servers.

For a better experience while using the App, we may require you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information, including but not limited to device identifiers, crash data, and usage statistics. The information that we request will be retained by us and used as described in this privacy policy.

Permissions Requested by the App:

Network & Internet Access (INTERNET, ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE, ACCESS_WIFI_STATE): Required to download video files from the web, fetch metadata, and display advertisements.

Display Over Other Apps (SYSTEM_ALERT_WINDOW, SYSTEM_OVERLAY_WINDOW): Required to provide the "One-Swipe Access" overlay feature, allowing you to paste links and initiate downloads while using other applications.

Camera (CAMERA): Required strictly for the built-in QR and Barcode scanner utility.

Device Status (READ_PHONE_STATE, WAKE_LOCK, RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED): Required to pause/resume downloads efficiently, manage background downloading tasks without putting the device to sleep prematurely, and manage media states.

Package Management (REQUEST_DELETE_PACKAGES): Required for core file and media gallery management features to allow users to clean up or delete stored files directly through the App's interface.

Notifications (POST_NOTIFICATIONS, VIBRATE): Used to update the user on active download progress, completions, or errors.

Widget Features (BIND_APPWIDGET): Required to operate the home screen web search widget.

2. Third-Party Services and SDKs
The App does use third-party services that may collect information used to identify you. These services are used to facilitate our service, to provide the service on our behalf, to perform service-related analytics, and to deliver targeted advertising.

Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) & Advertising ID: The App utilizes the Android Advertising ID (com.google.android.gms.permission.AD_ID) to provide personalized advertisements. You can manage your ad preferences via your device settings.

Firebase SDK: We use Firebase (Analytics, Crashlytics, Performance, Remote Config, and Messaging) to analyze usage trends, track application crashes, and improve performance. Firebase may collect device identifiers, IP addresses, and session interaction data.

Google ML Kit: The built-in barcode scanner uses Google's ML Kit. Processing of the input data (images/camera frames) happens entirely on-device, and ML Kit does not send that visual data to Google servers. However, ML Kit may send basic metrics about the performance and utilization of the APIs to Google.

3. Usage Limitations and Policy Disclaimers
YouTube Terms of Service: Due to strict Terms of Service and copyright regulations, this App explicitly does not support the downloading or extraction of video/audio from YouTube.

Copyrighted Material: Users are solely responsible for ensuring they have the right to download and store the media they access through the App.

4. Data Security and Retention
We value your trust in providing us your information. We use commercially acceptable means of protecting it, including utilizing modern encryption for data in transit where applicable.

Data Deletion: You have the right to delete your data. Because the App operates primarily offline and does not require user accounts, you can permanently delete all downloaded files, user preferences, and local data by clearing the App's storage cache in your device settings or by completely uninstalling the App.

5. Children’s Privacy
The App does not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. In the case we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we immediately delete this from our servers.

6. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Thus, you are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.
